BLS PROVIDER COURSE (NEW or RENEWAL students)

This is the required CPR course for ALL HEALTHCARE PROVIDERS, HOSPITAL EMPLOYEES, and HEALTHCARE STUDENTS. However, anyone that needs CPR training may take this course. SEE CPR FAQ’s

COURSE DESCRIPTION:

The American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider course is an instructor-led classroom based course (3-3.5 hours in length). This course is designed to help all healthcare providers recognize life threatening emergencies and provide high quality CPR. –E-card available within 2 business days!

New & Renewal students take the standard BLS Course.

• 1 and 2 Rescuer Adult/Child/Infant CPR

• AED and Bag-Mask Device

• High Performance Team Dynamics & Teams Activity

• Adult/Child & Infant Rescue Breathing

• Adult/Child & Infant Choking

BLS Provider Manual required for BLS Provider course. All students must have a current book – AHA BLS Provider Student Manual (2020 Guidelines)
This book is RECOMMENDED for the class. You can do one of the following:

1. Purchase provider manual e-book from AHA website *E-BOOK*
2. Purchase provider manual from AHA website prior to course *MANUAL*
3. Bring current book to class if you already have one.
