BLS (HeartCode) Provider SKILLS Session $50.00
*Recommended for those needing BLS Renewal and those WITH previous experience with BLS)*
HeartCode BLS Provider Skills Session is a 2-Part Course. You must complete both parts to receive your BLS Provider Card. The on-line portion must be completed prior to attending this session. Your online completion form must be presented to the instructor at the start of class.
Once students pass the exam at the end of the online portion, they participate in a classroom-based training session featuring discussion, skills practice, and testing. Successful completion of both the online and classroom portions, including skills practice and testing, qualifies students for a BLS provider course card.
Part 1: HeartCode BLS (Separate Online Course)
Part 2: Complete the 1 hour Hands-On Skills Session ~ where you will demonstrate Heartcode BLS CPR Skills.
Designed for ALL Healthcare & Hospital employees, students and those entering the healthcare field.
This course teaches:
- High-quality CPR for adults, children, and infants
- The AHA Chain of Survival, specifically the BLS components
- Important early use of an AED
- Effective ventilations using a barrier device
- Importance of teams in multi-rescuer resuscitation and performance as an effective team member during multi-rescuer CPR
- Relief of foreign-body airway obstruction (choking) for adults and infants
BLS Provider Manual required for BLS Provider course. All students must have a current book – AHA BLS Provider Student Manual (2020 Guidelines)
This book is REQUIRED for the class. You can do one of the following:
- Purchase provider manual e-book from AHA website *E-BOOK*
- Purchase provider PRINT manual from AHA website prior to course *MANUAL*
- Bring current book to class if you already have one.

BLS Provider Course $68.00 (Instructor-Led)
*Recommended for those new to HEALTHCARE with NO previous BLS experience, and anyone requiring refreshing*
The American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider course is an instructor-led classroom based course (approximately 4 hours in length). For both New & Renewal candidates. This CPR course is designed to help healthcare providers in-hospital and out of hospital settings recognize life threatening emergencies and provide high quality CPR. This is the required CPR Course for ALL HEALTHCARE & HOSPITAL EMPLOYEES.

GENERAL BLS /CPR PROGRAM DETAILS:
- All Courses are taught by American Heart Association certified instructors.
- Classes are small and relaxed.
- Most of all we ensure you feel confident performing CPR when you are done.
REFUND POLICY:
All cancellations must take place 3 days prior to the course date. Course transfers must take place 3 days prior to initial course registration. NO REFUNDS FOR “NO SHOW” STUDENTS. If a student does not show up for a class the course fees will not be refunded.
LATE POLICY:
Students are not permitted to enter the course if late by 15 minutes or more – you will need to reschedule your session. NO EXCEPTIONS.
